To date, there have been two, very different, Unite Barbados events…

  • The most recent Barbados event falls into the ‘Unite Select’ events…Unite Barbados – Chester took place early September 2016 and both the suppliers and tour operators were individually selected and invited. The morning session consisted of pre-scheduled 1:1 product meetings and the afternoon of presentations to reservations staff.

David Pollard, Classis Hideaways for Coral Reef Club and The Sandpiper hotels:
“Just when you are trade showed out, Debbie re-invents. A morning of tough negotiations with the Chester mafia, lunch with friends sandwiched in before training with the res guys. Top event and will no doubt have its imitators very soon.”

Helen Tabois, Senior Product & Marketing Manager, Caribbean & Cruise, ITC Luxury Travel
“Barbados is an important destination for ITC Luxury Travel, so the opportunity to see some of our key partners for product meetings and sales training “on the doorstep” in our home city of Chester was very welcome. As usual with a “Unite” event, the organisation of the day was first class.”

  • The first Unite Barbados event was held in at the end of October 2014 in London giving the hoteliers and DMC’s who flew over for WTM and the UK representatives the opportunity to have 1:1 meetings with their UK tour operating partners in a relaxed and stress-free environment.

Lynn Girling, Director Marketing & Sales, The Caribbean Collection for Mango Bay:
“Thank you Debbie for a very successful Unite Barbados. Kavita and I had some very productive meetings with tour operator partners for Mango Bay and we found the day infinitely more useful than our attendance at WTM! The location and venue were very convenient and the organisation of the day as superb as we have come to expect from you! I would also add that lunch was really good!

Lisa White, Senior Product Manager - The Lotus Group Ltd:
“Thanks again for organising the event. Extremely well organised, great venue and structured meetings!”
